Art Statement:

I had the most wonderful weeping cherry tree in my garden in Porter. So it’s fun to put one into a quilt. This piece is part of the Wading Birds Series. I couldn’t ever imagine a glossy ibis if I hadn’t actually seen one. They’re the most wonderful combination of green purple and brown. Anyway, I gave this one a gorgeous frog companion and a dragonfly for a snack.
