Art Statement:

Sunshower is part of the Birdfeeder Series. These are quilts about how gardens feed everything that comes to live in them, about having what we need when we need it. Starlings are the most amazing colors, that I had to play with them. How can you beat lime, green, turquoise, purple and brown. The fence is like all the fences in my life, there, but not so firm or solid to keep much of anything that needs to be there really out. The yellow roses echo the sun spirals, both light and joy.

Hand dyed cotton, felt, stabilizers, steam a seam 2, novelty sheers, polyester, metallic, nylon threads,

Machine embroidered, machine pieced,  applique, quilted, cord binding
